Overview of Work:

- Attended design meetings to understand the full scope of design from both the Scenic Designer and the Director.

​

- Attended other meetings across all departments to ensure proper communication from the Carpentry department.

​​

- Assisted the Technical Director with pre-budgeting and budgeting.

​

- Produced and updated a lineset schedule to keep all departments on the same page about fly space. 

​

- Produced a Technical Direction ground plan for use by all departments, especially Stage Management.

 

- Assisted the Technical Director in anyway possible. This usually meant bouncing ideas off of each other and regular check-ins.

​

- Worked with Lead Carpenters on the shop floor to assist in reading technical draftings and ensure safety and efficiency while producing a correct final product.

 

- Oversaw all construction of scenery, and both the Load-In and Load-Out process with supervision from Technical Director.

​

- Fabricated when necessary.

 

- Kept track of schedule/calander to ensure an on time build, and scheduling of labor with Lead Carpenters.

​

- Led safety talks/briefings with the cast and crew of the production.
