Overview of Work:

- Attended design meetings to understand the full scope of design from both the Scenic Designer and the Director.

​

- Pre-Budgeted the early design to give the go ahead for other departments to work with the set designers vision.

​

- Prepaired technical/shop drawings, and coordinated with other departments such as electrics due to the many lit practical elements being built and rigged.

​

- Produced and maintained a lineset schedule to keep all departments on the same page about fly space. 

 

- Ordered materials while ensuring to stay within budget.

 

- Worked with and mentored Assistant Technical Directors and Lead Carpenters.

 

- Oversaw all construction of scenery, and both the Load-In and Load-Out process.

​

- Fabricated when necessary.

 

- Ensured that a safe set was being built, and that the designers vision was accomplished.
